The Liberation 75 tulip honours the Canadian men and women who served during the Second World War and is a symbol of the enduring Dutch-Canadian friendship. This Tulip is an early blooming Fosteriana in a striking "Dutch orange", with fluted petals reminiscent of a princess' crown. The Liberation75 commemorative planting campaign saw 1.1 million tulips blooming across the country in 2020, honouring 1.1 million Canadians who served in the Second World War.
