To calculate the number of bulbs you need in your planting area.

1. Determine the square feet of area to plant.

2.  Determine the spacing of the bulbs and use the corresponding multipier. 

spacing at 4" (10.16cm) on center use multiplier  9.1

spacing at 6" (15.24cm) on center use multiplier  4

spacing at 9" (22.86cm) on center use multiplier 1.77

spacing at 12" (30.48cm) on center use multiplier 1

(Square feet of planting area x multiplier = number of bulbs required)
